I've never seen a trach pancake like yours does.I just want to say, thank you for noticing~ I am glad I am not alone and I have seen a lot of trachyphyllias. Kept a red for 5-7 years. Memory is gone... This guy, is not folding at all. Perhaps just that happy?
He's skeleton is also cone shaped. Was never chiseled. So, was collected on the sand bed. I don't want to handle him. But I can.I've never seen a trach pancake like yours does.

Focus on a lens upgrade. There maybe one that does really well for your canon. It's more of the lens than the camera itself.Nice! I've always wanted one of those nice mirrorless Sonys, just don't use it enough to justify the cost.
I have a Canon G7 X Mark II that I might try out instead of my phone. Thank you![]()

What phone do you use? Some phones can take some nice pics. Just have to dial in the settings right. The Canon is just a point and shoot, can't change lenses unfortunately. I think I have an older Nikon D something or other DSLR though, that may work!
I use a Google Pixel 6 Pro, which takes phenomenal pictures! I just wanted something that was able to get those really nice and focused macro shots super close up!What phone do you use? Some phones can take some nice pics. Just have to dial in the settings right.
Macro shots are great. It's how people get sold on acropora. Canon is the better go to camera for aquariums. Sony, is better for streaming reasons. So, my husband tried to get a camera that would benefit us both.I use a Google Pixel 6 Pro, which takes phenomenal pictures! All the pictures I've shared on my build thread so far were taken with my phone and they look great for the most part. Was considering getting some of those color lens filters fori t.

Do you keep ambient room light on, when you take puctures? Lepto looks good.Your pictures look great, so that's awesome if it serves a dual purpose!
My phone can get some pretty decent close-up shots, just gotta have a real steady hand and hope that it wants to focus at that specific moment haha. Just can't get super super close.
