I love how people like to feed feeder fish to Jaws, their prized oscar and say "that's savage!" They never seen a harli go to town on a starfish. Poor things. They are.
Starfish also don't Have a central nervous system. They rely on a system that spread out across their entire body, so as pieces are removed from those, the rest really doesn't know, It doesn't communicate in a network like that. In theory, every piece you cut off of it would then just become a smaller independent piece.I love how people like to feed feeder fish to Jaws, their prized oscar and say "that's savage!" No matter how you try to sugar coat being eaten alive and kept to being harvested alive. It is still brutal. Beautiful shrimpStarfish also don't Have a central nervous system. So at what point while being digested are the tiny pieces no longer starfish? I have no idea.
It's been your very dark Ted Talk.
