I don't know how much Eli has grown, but she looks a lot bigger than when I added her to the display tank.

So am I. I never had such aggressive clownfish. I don't think they were raised with any form of anemone. My original pair were living in a frogspawn. After my female died, she was young.. My male was living in the same frogspawn for years. I can't recall if it was 5 or 8.

I'll enjoy the eel time. She's definitely quirky though.
With wrasshole gone, I should be able to get some shrimp now. The white belly is small enough, shouldn't disembowel anything.

Got one clown, I think it's the one bugging my Duncan that is trying to live in my hammer. The other couldn't care less. Hammer doesn't seem to mind the fish.

Coral aren't as tough as nems. Each coral also acts different when pestered. Clowns can be a fun fish. Or a pita.

Only have rfas at the moment, and they are in the other tank. I don't expect the clowns to try to host them though. I don't mind the clowns as long as I have a contingency for when they are rude. Same with the dottyback. Nothing else can go in the tank but that's ok with me.

Yup. Try having ~30 year old clarkii that are 4" for the male and 5" for the female lol. They do not nip, they are little sharks.

OMG, for real. The female has nipped at me once or twice in the 3+ years I've had them, but now she is crazy. I always wear gloves now because she has drawn blood.

I love anemones as much as I love ribbon eels. It's one of the main reasons I kept from buying them. We now have meds to treat such infections. The doors are open!
Now, for morning news.
Eli is well over 30" now. I don't know how long she is. She has grown a lot in 3 weeks.



Torch is back to normal... How long I can't say.

Never fed enough. Always hungry.

We got another split in the making.


Clown tangs are evil creatures. However, mine is still under and 1 1/2 inches. The blenny is beating up on the little guy. I keep seeing new bleeny bites everyday. Can't snag a photo of said injuries.
