That bulb combo with the Reefbrites are going to look really blue - hope thats your goal![]()
Let me know how you like the ReefBrite XHO combination. At this moment I have B+, A+, C+, B+, P+, B+ and Reef Brites Tech only at front.
Thinking to and another Reefbrites but concerned if I go Tech or XHO.
It's in the house! My rack mount rails came in so I was able to mount the power strips

Sorry to keep asking questions about your cabinet, but it looks great! What are the "rack mount rails" you mentioned to mount the power strips? From your pictures, it looks like they fit perfectly width-wise. Is this not the case without something additional? Thanks for the info![]()
Thanks! They are used generally used for rack mounting professional audio equipment or effects for instruments and what not. That's why those power strips come with "the rack mount ears" already built into the casing. So I ordered the 4 space rack mount rails. But it only holds 2 of those power strips with a couple of holes left over. But if you get that cabinet then add those rails the power strips fit perfectly like they were meant to go there.. lol
Nice build! I really like the dimensions. Wish I would have gotten something more similar to that than my 50g cube. If it were my tank I would switch the tank and the equipment cabinet so you could have 1 more viewable pane of glass. It is a little close to the wall to fit your head in there lol!
Just my 2c haha.
Ah I see that now. Bummer but it will still be awesome . Congrats on getting the tank wet! Thanks! I was going to do that but the tank would block the alarm panel and light switch. I didn't want to get into re running electrical.. the only way I could do that is if I put in 15 inch wide cabinet against the wall then the tank stand against that.. At that size you can't get everything you need in there without one big mess. So I just made sure I left enough room for me to be able to get between the tank and the wall in case I need to get to the pipes or back of that side of the tank for what ever reason
Ah I see that now. Bummer but it will still be awesome . Congrats on getting the tank wet!
I've been struggling to find a power supply that's individually switched. I finally see one where I can see the model number. Thank you. After googling it I see that a lot of people are using these.Finished my equipment cabinet! Came out pretty good I think. Need to do wire management in the back but won’t do that until I have the apex hooked up and running. Maybe tomorrow.. lol
