I don't know if Bryan is a he or a she but I named him Bryan anyway.

He has been a citizen since October 2013. I got him not from an lfs but from a local reefer who had decommissioned his tank and was selling off his livestocks. He said he had kept Bryan for two years before selling him to me.

And he said Bryan is a hyt (hawaiian yellow tang).

Well correct me guys if I am wrong but I think Bryan is a yellow-morph of Z. Scopas!

Whatever species he may be, I absolutely love and enjoy this fish.

He is the Boss in my tank but he does not bully anyone to the point of that fish being too harassed to come out for food. I got another citizen that fits that description.

Bryan is a pig, as I think most tangs are. He devours nori, pellets, mysis, heck anything I throw in the tank.

In all the years I've had him, I've been fortunate to have him ick-free.

He is also a puppy-dog especially at mealtimes!

Just like Bryan, I am also not very sure of the identity of this fish. Is it a flame angel or is it something else (shepardi perhaps)?

I am not a fish expert by any means but this fish looks different from all the other flames I have seen thus far.

For one thing, its color is more orange than red and its vertical bars seem narrower.

Well, flame or not I also enjoy this fish immensely. Except when he nips at my corals!

Although he hasn't made any major damage. Yet.

I have had the jebao pumps for two years already. Both the dc3000 and dc12000 had their power supply adapters broken in the first 3 months of use so i had to replacethe power supplies. The rw-8s have been running well with no issues thus far.

Do I like them? Yes, because they get the job done for less money.
