Jason Fox flame

The no3pox did work well for me and maybe some... most of the coraline algae turned white and my phosphate levels drastically lowered and maintained.

I thought the goal is to attain as close to zero possible with nitrates and <.25ppm of phosphate. Can someone elaborate? Should I alter my dkh slowly with vinegar dosing, carbon source?

Any Jason Fox flame owners or SPS gurus, is my Jason Fox flame going through STN or RTN or new growth (which I doubt, but I could be wrong)
I just noticed today that some of the yellow tips have turned white, refer to picture.

It was in a spot of my tank that was receiving kind of direct cross flow from return and wave maker and par values of 350-400ish.

Tank parameters currently
Ph 7.8
Nitrate 0-0.10 ppm
Phosphate-.25
Calcium-470
Dkh-10.1
Magnesium +\-1500
Salinity .025

1st picture when I got it
2nd picture current

Need advice and help

On a side note: now that I am staring the crap in my tank, the Jason Fox was next to my Millie Acro frag and just noticed that it’s white tenicles is long enough to have maybe touched the tips of the Fox and stung it?

Does anyone else get that acro smell anytime they even so much as see a picture of an acro out of the water? Sometimes I think I'm crazy.

You might be confusing nitrite and nitrate. Yes, you want nitrite, NO2, to be 0ppm, or very close. Nitrate, NO3, should be higher. A good starting point would be NO3<20 and PO4<0.12.

Full disclosure, my tank runs at NO3 0.5-1.0 and PO4 0.03-0.05. I don't use anything except rock and a skimmer to achieve those numbers and it took almost 2 years for my tank to stabilize there. I feed heavily and everything looks good, so I stopped trying to chase a number. Again, that is just where my tank biology seems to keep things on its own.

Water changes weekly, phosban reactor running and dose no3pox every 3 days, amino acids daily

It's very likely your phosban is exhausted............test the output from the reactor.

As has been mentioned stop the NOPOX your nitrates are limited and too low.

You need to get where your nitrates are higher than P04. Backwards is no good.

Good point.

Does phosban exhaust quickly, I just started using phosban rector like couple weeks ago. The media is fairly new.

When P04 is high and your have a large water volume it can exhaust in days. It also depends how many ounces you're using.

All my acros doing okay no deaths yet... but this post originally was about my Jason fox which btw looks comfortable lower half of my tank at the moment.

So I’ll let my corals do the talking check them out as I just took these pictures (no filter or altering of photos).
