Here is my frag colouring up and encrusting. Tips are getting more red/peach and the polyps are starting to turn blue. This picture is under 2x ATI Blue+ only so fluorescence is a bit exaggerated.

(going to rehome him this weekend)

so is it worth the high price tag ?

assuming you mean the acro and not the fish, i'd be happy to provide "him" a good home.![]()
This is one of those corals that you really hope turns out as spectacular as the original picture. Although full of healthy skepticism about any coral really being that eye popping dramatic, maybe just maybe it will be. At the least, this is a lot of fun following along and anxiously awaiting this frags development. Recently passed on an opportunity to pick up a frag because the polyps were not blue. Perhaps I should have made that purchase

Very nice coral you got there. What are these colonies growing on the back? Looks intresting.

Great job Keith!
I'm sure everyone will agree with me that it's been a joy watching this coral grow in your tank.
And on the other hand, the value of this particular Acro went up because of its rarity now. I'm sure everyone heard about the mother colony is no longer with us. I cannot bring them here anymore [emoji24]. I don't mean to be the deliverer of this sad news but I just think everyone deserves to know. [emoji24]
Let's keep growing the ones we have!!!
Happy reefing!!!
just give me a year or two
