Would chemi pure blue work ?Was gonna suggest lanthium chloride but idk how to dose without skimmer , I would recommend some GFO to lower phosphate put in filter
Mm no if going that route use chemi pure elite- it contains gfo I would recommend straight gfo because yr nitrates are where you want them the chemi pure products will also lower nitrate a bitWould chemi pure blue work ?
I’ll pick some up tomorrow , I was feeding to bring up nitrates but it raised phosphates instead I’m guessingMm no if going that route use chemi pure elite- it contains gfo
Also as crazy as it sounds but dosing neonitro would lower phosphate alsoI’ll pick some up tomorrow , I was feeding to bring up nitrates but it raised phosphates instead I’m guessing
That is just crazy. Hopefully some gfo will work out for you.
So I have 3 options I believeAlso as crazy as it sounds but dosing neonitro would lower phosphate also
I hope so it’s weird the only ones that seem to be bothered are the hammer and Duncan other then that everything else looks fine but I’ll do my best in lowering itThat is just crazy. Hopefully some gfo will work out for you.
I couldn’t tell you exactly why, but it is stated on the bottle of neo nitro that it lowers phosphates. I think it has something to do with high phosphate limiting calcium uptake like skeletal growth for lps/sps coral I think it stuns something that processes it. When my nitrate / phosphate are not in the red field ratio bad things happen to me (bad algae Dino’s ect..). When the ratio is higher phosphate things are growing but not the skeleton itself , take my advice with a grain of salt tho lolSo I have 3 options I believe
1 kalkwiesser can also lower phosphates I have some of that
2 dose neonitro
3. Buy some chemi pure elite so it slowly removes phosphates
how does neonitro dropphosphates ?
Oh don’t I know it lol I’ll just got with gfo it’s a safer option ‘I couldn’t tell you exactly why, but it is stated on the bottle of neo nitro that it lowers phosphates. What I also find weird is that I have no algae in the tank so how can I have high phosphates with 0 algae ? I wonder if it’s my sponge or filter floss holding something In itI couldn’t tell you exactly why, but it is stated on the bottle of neo nitro that it lowers phosphates. high possibility. May want to get that taken care of and see. Rinsed out or exchanged. However you go about it. Some replace half at a time to seed the new floss. What I also find weird is that I have no algae in the tank so how can I have high phosphates with 0 algae ? Water change will be on Sunday I’ll take a look at the back chambers see if anything is stuck in themhigh possibility. May want to get that taken care of and see. Rinsed out or exchanged. However you go about it. Some replace half at a time to seed the new floss.
It doesn't sound like an emergency. But it is so weird. No algae? Or cyano bloom? I am sure you'll find whatever it is. Aquariums are weird.Water change will be on Sunday I’ll take a look at the back chambers see if anything is stuck in them
Sometimes you need to rinse them / squeezeWater change will be on Sunday I’ll take a look at the back chambers see if anything is stuck in them
I hope so I hate to be confused by test kits I only have 6 tests left for phosphate. But I’m not even sure if I’m doing it correctly Hanna has a curve so it doesn’t line upIt doesn't sound like an emergency. But it is so weird. No algae? Or cyano bloom? I haven’t squeezed my sponge in a month hahaSometimes you need to rinse them / squeeze
That’s your phosphate bomb lolI haven’t squeezed my sponge in a month haha
I’ll squeeze it tonight, you know I always squeeze my fresh water sponges but I always forget my salt tank has one tooThat’s your phosphate bomb lol
