I don't know for sure. This time around is my first round of keeping hammers more than 1 month time frame. I see with phosphate and light changes, they do weird things. Tips look different, tissue on the base is different. Once they are happy, they go back to normal. So I say it is acclimating still.

Makes sense hammers are big baby’s when it comes to change. Goal for phosphates is at least .1 hopefully everyone is really happy.

I love love love zoas I’m doing a small zoa garden in my tank I always loved the look of it.

Speaking of that...has anyone successfully cut off a frogspawn or hammer head without a bandsaw? Seems like the skeleton could crush easily. ?

it does crush with ease, same with indo torches. I snip off bad heads and they fall apart

hacksaw, hacksaw blade,rope blade for tile.

I would definitely get a bandsaw if I was going to do a lot of LPS fragging!
With SPS though it's dead easy...even happens when you don't want it to! LOL

I think I'll try what Frank suggests , a hacksaw or a handheld Dremel with a diamond cutter

Hand held would be nice with a bottle of water if someone was helping. Not sure that would matter unless going through flesh like acans and blastos for some examples.

That’s weird haha when I click on yours it brings me 2 pages back idk why ..

I went home yesterday exhausted my wife feed my fish for me and I passed out on the couch. Bad day yesterday I got new test kits and can’t wait to test the tank today !
