the lyretails are a bit aggressive, when the wrasse first went in he got a beating from the male cuz he was chasing the female. I did have one female die on me by refusing to eat. So now I am left with one male and one female.

thanks, I didn't take pictures of every single coral and there are a few more chalices but they are still on the small side and quite difficult to take pictures of especially they sit on the sand bed. Although I would like to upgrade but I won't be able to for a while, I am hoping to have the funds for a whole house generator installed before Sept., before Sandy's cousin decide to come visit new york.

Tank is same old, did not get to upgrade. Its been awhile and during which my tank has experienced some ups and downs, thats why I didn't update the thread for a good while. Elos tank wise it is same as day one, just wished I had gotten a bigger size back then. I did lost a lot of chalices and lps due to a small power outage and when it came back on I didn't realize my LED's programing got reset and it ramp up all the way to 100%... It was too late when I caught it. So since then I changed my lighting to ATI LED hybrid power module. Added an UAS to the sump, thats about it.

I know that everyone in this hobby goes through those ups and downs. It's frustrating but all the pics you posted look great!
Let me ask you bout the eggcrates, did you leave them under you live rock? I see that being a great move because now the rocks won't slide around and are more stable.

What's the filtration on this tank?

I will get some updated pictures soon. Mostly Sps now with ORA and Battle corals. Filtration I is basic, skimmer (SRO 2000int to now BK mini 180), then refugium with chaetos, and Skimz FM100 with rowa. Not running any filter socks since day 1.
