Finally got around to putting in a CO2 scrubber prior to winter. Our office tends to get high CO2 already.
1 Nagene 1000ml water botte
1 1/2 threaded 3/8 nipple
1 Skimz 4" sponge
The top of the bottle is a soft enough plastic that just drilling a 1/2 hole and press threading the fitting creates a tight bond. There is a natural depression/ rim in the bottom of the bottle that creates a line template for cutting leaving about 3/8" rim around the bottom edge. The sponge fits in tightly. I then printed a simple holder with a raised inside ledge to allow airflow through the bottom and a base so any dust doesn't fall into the tank. The top is secured to the side of the stand with velcro. I would have to knock it pretty hard for it to go anywhere. So far this time of the day I've seen a .1 increase in PH. You can see the pellets at the bottom already turning purple.
