Tore apart a scratched up 72RR for it's MegaFlow internal overflow box. Cut it down... worked out nicely.

I'm still "Up in the air" on the frag tank for the middle shelf. I've got a nice 20L with a Glass-Holes Overflow Kit... works great! I've also have the 1/4" Glass shelving that came with the rack. Possible custom built Frag tank? We'll see what happens. I've got the main equipment already... ASM G1 w/ Sedra3500, couple of return pump choices, Evolution 14K Gen.2 fixture & several Koralias. Just wanted to chronical the build.

Got some more work done....

Love this stuff. But it goes a lot faster than your typical paint, buy twice what you think you'll need.

Everything fits. Just too tight for my taste. Scrapping the 20L Frag Tank, just not enough clearance. I'll custom make one 6-8" deep.

Purple Deaths, Nuclear Green Palys and a single Tubbs Blue...

No fish yet. Still debating.

My first stab at building a tank from scratch. 24x14x8...
Bottom is 3/8" & sides are 1/4". Drilled and installed Glass Holes overflow kit. QuiteOne 1200 for return plus a pair of koralia Nanos for flow.

Custom making my own LEDs will be the next step ; )

It's actually sitting on the second shelf under the 40, sharing the sump/fuge. Up & running. Adding the dry Pukanki and Ft.Walton Beach Sand has caused a full blown cycle already... I plan to keep the frag tank bare-bottom for now. If I ever decide to do a big frag system again, I'll convert this one into a sweet little fuge full of macros. No lighting for now..

Picked up an older Blue Box MP10, added a SL1 module to my RKL for ATO... Still looking into LED options for the frag tank.

Nice work JDavis! I love how you cut that rock and stuck it in the corner. Those are some nice Zoas!! You got any other builds going?

Nice setup. Great looking frag tank.
Your 40 looks Great! I will be stealing some ideas ; )

Billy... you know me, I have 100's of builds going on in my head at all times. I picked up a 5g Fluval Chi the other day. I transfer my "Saltwater Mollies" into it for now. It'll be another month before they'll be ready to go "Full Salt". Can make a crazy Pico out of it. There's also the Banded Cat Shark Win (John) hatched from an egg... Got my eye on a 72x18x16.... unusual tank. Would need you to build a suitable stand though.
