Anyone here have one and if so what do you think? Have one on the way as my koralia are dying off. Going in the 40 cube and hope it will work well

I have one for about a month now in my 70 gal. 36"L. And Its great. I replaced 3 hydors. I keep mine on wave 1 on speed 3 and the knob 50% (straight up) anything more than that everything gets blown all over. Im upgrading to a 5'L in a couple months and will probably either get another wp25 or just put one wp40 but not sure yet.

And im not knocking tunze or ecotech but for the price if it breaks get a new one. Granted ecotech and tunze have stood the test of time but ecotech after a while make a whining noise something to do with the dry side. Anyway I'm sure you'll be happy with the purchase.

I know Lindsey has some WP40s, and I'm planning on getting some, too. I may grab a WP25 or two in the end for supplemental flow, but they're only something like $5 cheaper than the 40s.

Anyway, tagging along. :)

If we have enough people, we may be able to do a local group buy and maybe get a discount on them, as well. I'm probably going to also pickup one of the new Jebao DC12000 pumps.

Awesome. Thanks, Luis.

Sorry for the thread hi-jack, Corey!

I have my pair of the WP40's I ordered from Fishstreet when they first released them I would really like the 2nd generation controller, so if you guys order thru Fishstreet.com, PLEASE LET ME know so i can piggyback a pair of controllers on them. Sadly, I have to hope they make a wp-10 for my tiny nano...

What would be better for a 75, a WP25 supplemented with my 800 and 500 gph Powerheads, or a WP40? Regardless I want to take out my 2 small 200gph Powerheads.

Jmann, the WP40 would be too much IMO. you would be much better served with the WP25

Good deal. I just hope its not too much for the 40.

I believe so, too. :) There's a large thread about the 40s and I think the 25s are in it some, too, over on Reef Central. So far, seems to be overwhelmingly positive.

I would actually be worried, personally, if there weren't at least a few. :) I think those that have come up have been taken care of. Especially orders from Fish Street. I've not read through the entire thread, though.
