I have been looking into these for some time!! For the price you cant go wrong really, two cheap koralia is going to cost as much and not have all the options plus you have 2 eye sores instead of one.lol. Like it was said earlier if something happens to it can get another and still save a ton compared to vortech or tunze

I've been running the WP-25 on my 40 gallon breeder for about a month and I am loving the wave action. More importantly, my corals are loving it- I am seeing better polyp extension. I am getting a 1" standing wave (seiche) over the entire tank. I did purchase a small voltage controller for LEDs ($3.50ish on eBay) to dial things in a bit better, but with the new controller and the settings I am using it was probably unnecessary. Hopefully the longevity of the unit makes it worthwhile. I figured the only way to find out is get one and give it a whirl (literally).

If I owned Tunze, I'd be peeved, but I am a poor civil servant and couldn't pass on the price.

I had wp25 in my 55 gallon and it was way to much flow IMO. Even on the lowest setting.

If you are growing acros, these things shouldn't have too much flow unless you blast it directly at the corals. I have mine in a back corner midway down aiming towards the surface at the far opposite corner. It makes for a great wave on the entire tank. The controller is set on W1, S1. It's like the coral polyps are dancing and happy!
