Jebao or Eflux return pump??

Eflux hands down. Silent operation, plenty of power, nice controller and current USA provides excellent customer service. I use the 1900gph model on a 75 gallon reef tank.

That’s a lot for 75 gallons. I know you can turn the knobs down to where you want it but how do you know your at a certain “gph”. Why not go with the 1050 model??

I don't like to run pumps at max flow. I run this at about 50-60%. Great turnover though I don't know the exact numbers. I balance it out with the quietness of the overflow and what I like to keep my sump level at.

Been using a Jebao DC pump for nearly 2 years. Still have another one as backup that I have to dust off occasionally. From what I can tell the Current eflux doesn't have a feed timer like the jebao does. For me that is convenient. I hit the feed timer at least 2 - 4 times a day and always kicks back on. I think you can buy two jebao pumps for the price or close to the price of the eflux.

It does have a 10 minute feed timer. Never said jebao is bad, just providing my experience with current eflux. It's still very affordable and the customer service from current is well worth a little extra IMO. It's not like it costs as much as vectra. 189.00 for this pump is worth it. I'm trying to turn this into a bash jebao thread, plenty of people use them with great success, I just happen to use the eflux and I'm very happy with it.

Interesting. They must have made an update. There was a thread earlier this year with someone saying it didn't come with a feed timer??

I never said you said it was bad.

Thank you both for the experiences. I know the eflux you can just turn the knob all he way down and it kills the pump without unplugging. To me, this would be considered a feed mode..but at the same time you have to know where you had it if not at full throttle. This may take some consideration. I ordered the Jebao DCP-5000 online and the company I ordered it from sent me a dcp-15000 for the THIRD time!!!!

:eek:o_O Where did you order it from?

fish-street.com has always provided me with decent customer service. They also sell replacement parts at a very low cost if need be.

I ordered it off chewy which is mainly a cat and dog food provider. It was cheapest on the Internet. I’ve got three and had to return none of them. They also refunded me 100%. Y’all about customer service. They have basically bought me $350 Worth of new stuff

Sell 'em on ebay! ;Hilarious

The feed timer for the eflux requires there loop but I didn't get it it due to not running there additional powerheads so for feed mode it wasn't worth additional cost but is available. I turn the knob down when feeding, it stops the flow but doesn't shut the pump off. That may be a deal breaker if you want a feed mode. I normally feed longer than 10 minutes so it's easier for me. I ran mag drives for years and I will say no matter what you choose you'll love a DC pump. I'll never go back.

Another for eFlux, I run the 3170 on my 90 with a basement sump and I'm running it at about 65%

Think im okay at 1050 GPH for a 75G?

You could go that way but I would opt for the 1900 so you can turn it down. Save on the life of the pump that way

EDIT: Marine depot has the 1900 on sale for $151.72 today

So if I went the route of Jebao the 1350 would be a good option to go and then turn it down also correct?
