Jebao or Eflux return pump??

The feed timer for the eflux requires there loop but I didn't get it it due to not running there additional powerheads so for feed mode it wasn't worth additional cost but is available.
Oh okay, so it doesn't come with a feed timer.

I have both pumps in my 180 gallon mixed Reef tank right now and they both run silent the current eflux 3170 is my main pump and the jaybo 4000 is for my uv. I shut my UV off but the jaybo pump ran great for the 3 months straight I used it only issue is when I first turned it on it didn't want to start I took the impeller out made sure everything was clean and would spin then I put it back together put it under water without the cover over the impeller and it turned on worked ever since without issue. The one thing I like about my current eflux pump is my lfs carry them in stock and warrantied them for me which was big because my eflux crashed on me about 1 to 2 months in it kept turning on then off every half hour and the red light was on not sure what caused it to fail but took it to the fish store and he exchanged it for a brand new one in store super quick and easy everything worked great ever since love the pump lots of head pressure. So both great pumps

At RAP this year the Current rep was showing that you could use the current powerheads and return pump. Then push feed mode and the powerheads shut off and the return pump drops to 20%. That way the tank doesn't drain down. I bought both. When I hooked them up and pushed the feed button the powerheads dropped to 20% and the return pump never changed. I called Current. For your powerheads and return pump to work together you have to have the light controller. They sent me a light controller for free. I had the 1900 gph pump. I was still having problems with the pump. They sent me a 3140gph pump.

The good.
It is nice that I can push one button and both the powerheads and return pump shut down. Then about 10 minutes later everything turns back to normal. When I had problems they stepped up and and sent me parts free to make the system work like I was told it would.

The bad
For the feed mode to work you need a light hub and controller. When running pump at 100% the hub gets really hot. Also if running at 100% and pushing feed mode the pump will cycle on and off about 3 times then shut off when coming out of feed mode. I have feed the tank and left only to come back a few hours later and the pump was off.

Chiming in to see if OP ended up buying the eflux and is happy with it.

I just purchased the 1050gph model of the eflux and without the feed mode option, when turning my pump off and on it goes full blast and not at the setting I had the dial set on. I have to turn the dial all the way down, and after the pump calms down, set it back to the setting I want. Frustrating.

Waiting to hear back from Current support but I wanted to give my input.

Good quality and super silent tho. Cannot hear it at all.

When I got my first pump it would turn on and off and do other strange things. I ended up having to replace the grey controller box. I just got an email from Current yesterday that they have finally got a working blue tooth controller working. I ordered one. I am going to see how it works before I buy another one. For the next two weeks they are selling them 50% off with a discount code. If you decide you want Bluetooth let me know and I will send you the code.

I ordered it off chewy which is mainly a cat and dog food provider. It was cheapest on the Internet. I’ve got three and had to return none of them. They also refunded me 100%. Y’all about customer service. They have basically bought me $350 Worth of new stuff
Thats crazy. I was going to say, if you paid for a 5000 I'm sure you could flip them for a gain.

I use the dcp 6500, and it is dead silent.

Still no issues with my Eflux 3170 after more than a year.

Using a Jebao DCP series. It's dead silent compared to the previous series and has been working flawlessly.
