Asmodyus, I've the same issue with one of my dcp controllers. I know it's the controller as I can swap the pump to a different one an .d it works perfectly. My damaged controller got wet and that caused it. I'm waiting for someone to have a replacement dcp 20000 controller in stock to order a replacement.

So I have a Jabao DCP-15000 Pump setup externally and just it stopped ramping up past 24 watts will not let me manully change the speed or pause it for feed. So I took it apart cleaned and still the same and I locked and unlocked it nothing. Has anybody seen this issue and also is the DCS controller work on a DCP?

DO you know if they have to be the exact same model number controller also will the older DCS controller work for the DCP-15000.

Really? I could swear I read somewhere that they were garbage. But I know everyone has a lot of opinions LOL
I've been so impressed by mine. It's been going strong since June 2018. And I've abused it too. I've lost count of how many times it's been run dry etc. Great pump.

I had good luck with my dc9000 until today. Set the tank up October 2015 with the intention to upgrade the jebao pump someday but never got around to it. 4.5 years of running with zero maintenance, I'd say it was a pretty good run for a cheap pump, fortunately I always try to keep backups for things. Thinking of going with the varios 6 as the new pump, not sure I trust this waveline pump For long term.

Could be just the power supply?

Power supply has power, controller has power just Pump does nothing anymore. Like I said 4.5 years was a good run for this thing

I soaked my Jeabo in vinegar for a couple of hours and varoom! Good as new.

Been soaking in citric acid since about noon, will try it again tomorrow

I have the DCQ-5000 on my 125 mixed, and it has been flawless for going on 18 months now.

My DCT 6500 is going on 2.5 years with only an annual cleaning and it's still going strong.

Does anyone have any experience with the new jebao MDC return pumps? I'm thinking of trying one for my new build

I'd recommend the dct or dcp as they're slightly quieter i run them as my return pump. My dcq has a slight hum to it but runs at much higher rpms. I use it as my skimmer pump and it rocks.

I have the dcq feeding my remote skimmer sump. It is dead silent just like the dcp pumps

Anybody tried out the dcw Jebao line yet? Looks like it has an added feed mode.

Interesting.. so where does the dcw fall in line as far as releases?
I don’t even see the mcd on the jebao website.

I dont think it ever was released under that lettering. I think it was between the dc and dcp.
I assume it was released as the dct, or it may have been ment to be after the dct, but the dcp was designed and released first so the dcw was scrapped. I dont even see it for sale.
Could it be one of their ac pumps? Or for pond use?
The mcd was just released , or at least went on the market within the past couple months.
I currently have 2 dcp20000 and 1dcq10000. Ill be getting some of these mcd10000 for closed loop . Im going to try and download the app and see how much control it has available, if i can set multiple on off cycles and wVe patterns throughout the day i can eliminate all powerheads in the tanks. That would be a fantastic upgrade in my opinion
