Jebao wp25 issue...please help!

Maybe another reason not to buy off brand stuff... Not saying the blow, but not sure I'd spend my money on them...

Have heard many problems with the model that cost 5 times as much. And you do not have to have the sun and moon if perfect alignment.

I agree, but you can not take a Chevy GEO and change this and that and have it run like Porsche 911. ecotech has been around a heck of a lot longer and no matter what brand of anything you buy some will have issues. I don't have either one. But I will nit jump on the band wagon of any new product untill it's tested and proven. And this is NOT and ecotech...

Not like a Porsche but more like a jaguar. But both the chevy and the jaguar will get you to work. The chevy owner will have extra money to buy new tires. Plus still have enough money to buy another chevy as a backup.

I just Wanted to add 2Cents I have a wp25 and it has not (knock on wood) a single problem great working pump in my opinion, also I have two mp40s after a year one wet side needed to be fixed and now it looks like the other will need work in the near future, Time will tell how good the wp is. but for me if it lasts a year and breaks I toss it no worries, if my $450 dollar pump breaks after a year and I have to put another $100 bucks to fix it I find that to be a little ridicules. IMO the wp is a heck of a deal for what you get and if my mp40's keep breaking they will be sold and replaced.

Other than like in this case the Chevy will not start. (and they don't have the back up yet)

Look not really knocking the project. I have thought about them, but like I said I want it more tried and tested.. I'd never spend $500 on a pump, dont have that kind of cash, but I have read other post about this and that with the Jebao and I'll wait 'till all the bugs are worked out.

I fixed the issue with my wp25! I plugged my laptop power supply into the controller and it worked like new! I went to a local used computer store and they gave me a used power supply and problem solved!

Cant beat that. You can lower or raise the voltage, this will change the pump speed at any mode not just the w1. There is a minimum,on the wp40 it is 12 volts. Guessing the max is whatever is original voltage supply is, too much would burn the motor over time.

I believe it states on the product description that the speed is only changed on w1. I've also seen a couple threads were it was verified with a voltage meter through all the settings. It only affected w1.

If the voltage regulator only is sending lets say 12 volts the speed of the pump will be slower. I have done myself. Less volts less speed no matter which mode. What is supplied is a transformer it has a set voltage.
