I thought mp10 can only go on 3/8 inch glass max

No goes just fine on my tank. Works great. A lot of us around here run the Mp40 Mp10 combo on the Marineland 120 and 150 gallon 4 foot tanks. I just added the RW8'S to increase the flow even more because my tank is Sps dominant.
