Had a small splash onto an outlet in my stand which tripped my GFCI. Lost power to the whole circuit off the main breaker and can't get the GFCI to reset. I suspect I might actually have power to the GFCI, and that everything else on the circuit is downstream of it, and the GFCI is just bad. Bought a replacement breaker and GFCI just to be sure.
But, getting to it is a BEAR!
Oh well. Removed GFO reactor, ATO and Ca reactor just to get at it. Opportunity to clean I guess. Ugh.
Have the whole system running off extension cords, run on the floor through the house. Wifey not happy.
Bunch of equip on the kitchen counter top. Wifey really not happy.

I bought a Sapphire damsel as my first fish in March of 2014. I added a second later, in March of 2015. They've been laying under a frag rack for several weeks, and have recently moved to a new home. This is their pre-egglaying behavior.

This is an idea for skinning my stand. There would be six removable magnetized panels, each with sound batting and supports to rest on the steel frame.
An assortment of types of wood could be used, I suppose with a common thickness of 3/4" which ought to be pretty common. The 3/4" stock would be cut to a couple different lengths and widths.

Love this thread I've spent the last two days reading during my down time at work. Very inspiring, I'm currently planning an 80gal build and can only hope it turns out as nice as yours. I'm planning on doing an SPS dominant tank as well, and lit totally by LED nice to see the progression of your tank, it has given me confidence that it can be done if done correctly. It took me a little while to figure out that you avatar is from Castaway. I was like look at this bum for quite a while, then I figured it out. Whats the little dude in post [HASHTAG]#389[/HASHTAG]? I also have a quesiton about the board you placed under your tank above the ply, what is it again and what's the purpose? Love the look your planning for the skin of the tank. Totally gonna follow this thread...AWESOME!

Wow! Thanks for the words @fragit! The fish in 389 is a red headed goby. I have two. They rule supreme after lights out. Lots of personality. Very inexpensive through Sustsinable Aquatics, where they breed them.
The board between the tank and ply is a fiber sound board, from H ome D epot, that is soft and compressible. It's meant to take up any deformity and stresses on the tank bottom, for example from the screws or ply itself. Some people use styrofoam, but I thought that might continue to settle and compress over time, unlike the fiber board. It's the same material I use for sound deadening in the stand.

Don't hold your breath for my build, it's going to be a long build process. Biggest obstacles for me are money and time as for most people. Hopefully we will hit that 4.5 million dollar powerball jackpot and neither will be an issue. I'm currently building a stand for my basement sump/fuge area. Going to get that up and running before I even have a display tank, which hopefully I will be able to get after my birthday next month. I was originally going to go with Miracles as you did but they gave me a very high quote for an 80 gal tank. Think I'm gonna go with SCA, but am waiting for a quote from Primo Reef Acrylics, we will see.
