Updated picture. Seems to like low light. Had it out mid level in my tank under 6 t5's and it bleached out. Color coming back now. No vertical growth but encrusting.

Here's my frag after roughly 2 months. Fully encrusted, yet seems to have lost the signature "flaming tip". I'm switching from ai sol blue to t5 in the near future...will this help?

I have both, the jf flame is different than GB burning candle. might possibly be their burning flame tabling acro tho.

I'd like to hear others weigh in on this (who are knowledgeable, not speculative). Looking at the earlier comments in this thread there are a lot of people claiming both gb and jf are the same. . If they're different, let's hear some specifics. If they're the same, let's hear the story. And this is certainly not to preclude that one piece is better than the other.
Is this like the reef tech starburst monti v Jason fox setting sun monti? Both the same piece with different names. Seems silly that one would have more weight because of the name behind it...give me a break.

I'm not speculative, i have invoices and I own both pieces. i'll post pics tomorrow. you can decide for yourself. And they both cost around the same price. Or do like I did and buy both. :]

Perfect...can't wait to compare the two. I personally bought a piece of mattv (golden basket) burning candle acro off of reefnjunkie a couple months ago. In the course of our discussion it was disclosed that this was the same piece that Jason fox named whatever. YOU say they're different...and I respect that because you're willing to put your money where your mouth is...by offering a side by side comparison. SOME OTHER GUY says they're the same piece (but he can't reveal his deep secret to prove anything). I don't get it; it's a piece of coral.
