I've had mine a couple weeks buts it's so small I can't get a good shot, hopefully it'll grow up and I'll be able to share in time.

Brett dose it have a good yellow axial corallite growing from it?

Didn't really start off yellow but it's slowly getting there. Seems to be happy after settling in and is showing some good polyps now too.

Update....acro got stung at base about 6 weeks ago...I used a saw and cut off the base of the plug about 3 weeks ago and glued to the rock. Frag did not like it look like some of the skin was peeling off...well it has recovered and doing very well now. Actually getting some vertical growth

How much more will it encrust? seems like all it's energy is being put into spreading rather than growing upward.

SPS frags that encrust first tend to make better colonies as they have wide base. I have had success putting frags as high as possible in the tank after acclimated on the rock it will live permanent. After the frag encrusts I will then move the rock down in the tank a little and it then immediately exhibits upward growth. I have attached a pic for reference. The original frag was on the bottom right side of the pic and hardly can be seen as it started as a nub. I had no vertical growth at all and the Bali acted like a plating monti for months while at the very top of the tank. When moved 16 inches down the coral popped up many verticals. If you wait and leave the coral up top for its life it will also eventually go vertical but usually after if finally touches another coral from plating. HTH and only my experiences.

Never knew that. Pretty cool thanks for sharing, I'll have to try that one time.
