Here's mine. Coloring back up and starting to grow upwards finally.

Don't worry they will be gone soon....ive just been too lazy. Used a laser a year ago but about 10 have managed to come back.

I have green palys in my tank that are the same way. They survived in the dark for over a year so I chiseled them off the rock. I noticed 2 or 3 new ones popped up the other day.

Ok, I got my Burning Candle Acro aka JF Flame Acro from RMF today, thats the good news. The bad news it came in all browned out, I have it placed in the tank where I am hoping it will start coloring back up, am sure it will, this isn't the first frag that I have had come in this way. It is a very impressive frag when it comes to size and shape. The good thing is we can hopefully watch it make a come back together,, I will post updates

Sweet! Staying tuned in! It should color up great for you.

Very nice! That's a nice sized piece to start off with.

I don't know, that doesn't appear to be the same species of coral as the Fox Flame. And I'm not talking about color. I'm looking at the structure of the branches. The fox flame seems to get thinner more elongated branches. I don't know, I guess time will tell. You have a nice start with a frag that big though. Hopefully it will color up for you.

Scott, that is a gorgeous picture of the JF FoxFlame, beautiful color rendition....no blues, lol. It is growing wonderfully for you. I think I may have mine too high. Time to lower it as it is getting washed out.

I had thought the same thing ,,, at this point though ,,, can't really tell. At some point thought,,,, we will know for sure. This is a sold frag off of RMC: Burning Candle ? WYSIWYG This frag has what looks like to me, sort of, a upside down jig saw blade. My frag looks to just have bumps. We wil just have to wait to see what it colors up to.

Here's what mine looks like at the moment. A little background: I got this frag right before I discovered my tank had AEFW. It was only a tiny little nub directly from JF. I pulled all my acros and treated in a QT tank for 4 weeks. This one actually looked like it had died and I almost threw it away when it came time to putting the corals back in the display. It was completely white and had STN at the base. However, it miraculously pulled through and has been encrusting ever since. Its starting to show signs of branching around the edges, so I'm hoping it will start to grow vertically soon. Hasn't developed any yellow tips yet though. The red is actually more red in real life, but I can't capture it with my amateur photography skills:) Oh and I've been AEFW free for 6+ months now. The tank has never looked better!
