JHunt's 30x30x18 SPS Shallow Cube

So much light! Looks great. I had a cardboard canopy for the past many months, such an eye saver. Just recently upgraded to some white PVC cutouts, huge aesthetic upgrade.

It is a lot of light! I'll get a par meter under it as soon as I can steal it from @mdb_talon again. :)

Got any pics of your canopy? I've been brainstorming ideas and different materials to use. Whatever I end up with, I want it to be as light and easy to remove as possible.

Seams are a slight eyesore, but really happy with it otherwise.

Looks great! Seams are no big deal. Is it all one piece you take down at once?

I have an ambitious idea to build a lightweight minimalist frame and utilize magnets to hold the individual panels in place. But most likely this cardboard will be sticking around a while. I have way too many pending reef projects...

It's all one piece. The board is super light, so I just used a few L brackets and double sided tape. The piece on the back is great to block overflow light/algae growth as well.

You got it! :)

This was my first acro. I lost most of it to STN 8+ months ago, but managed to save a tiny nub. This is by far the most colorful it's ever been.

@mdb_talon is running two 50w 440nm's and one 50w 20k over a frag tank. Maybe he'll chime in on some numbers.
How is their coverage/spread?
I checked out their website, allegedly “MH Replacements”, those are big shoes to fill. Their reef pro bars do seem very interesting as well.

Spread is pretty good imo. I ordered two of the 21led versions. Hopefully they come this week.
