It is a lot of light! I'll get a par meter under it as soon as I can steal it from @mdb_talon again. So much light! Looks great. I had a cardboard canopy for the past many months, such an eye saver. Just recently upgraded to some white PVC cutouts, huge aesthetic upgrade.

Looks great! Seams are no big deal. Is it all one piece you take down at once?![]()
Seams are a slight eyesore, but really happy with it otherwise.
It's all one piece. The board is super light, so I just used a few L brackets and double sided tape. The piece on the back is great to block overflow light/algae growth as well.Looks great! Seams are no big deal. Is it all one piece you take down at once?
I have an ambitious idea to build a lightweight minimalist frame and utilize magnets to hold the individual panels in place. But most likely this cardboard will be sticking around a while. I have way too many pending reef projects...
You got it!

Thank you!Great build, and great photos! I love the remote sump setup.
@mdb_talon is running two 50w 440nm's and one 50w 20k over a frag tank. Maybe he'll chime in on some numbers.Excited to see par numbers on those add a lights
How is their coverage/spread?@mdb_talon is running two 50w 440nm's and one 50w 20k over a frag tank. Maybe he'll chime in on some numbers.
Spread is pretty good imo. I ordered two of the 21led versions. Hopefully they come this week. How is their coverage/spread?
I checked out their website, allegedly “MH Replacements”, those are big shoes to fill. Their reef pro bars do seem very interesting as well.
Let me know what you think. Did you go with the 50w 20k I presume?Spread is pretty good imo. I ordered two of the 21led versions. Hopefully they come this week.
