Looks very close to the icp test on my macro tank. I use a ton of cheato grow on it. The silica may be from water though. May be time to check di resin.
Thanks for the reply. Silicon and silica are the same? RO membranes are less than a year sediment and carbon blocks are three months. I’m using three DI setup first is cation then anion and mixed last, all color changing. Cation and the mixed are 6 months but I’m replacing anion monthly. 6 TDS before DI 0 after. I’m using RedSea blue bucket. I did over dose sponge excel more than a year ago for the sand dwelling Dino but have changed the water several times since. Is it worth an ICP of the RODI or does silica really take a long time to remove?

If nothing is consuming the silica, yes it takes a while to remove. Especially if you have enough microfauna to outcompete diatoms. It should go down with time.

Biggest thing is the iron imo. I od’d my 180 once and the acros just stopped growing. Not hurt, just didn’t grow at their usual rate. I cranked the lights on the cheato and let it grow mad. Helped bring it down.

So sorry to hear. my condolences.:(

Okay it’s time to get back into reefing. I haven’t done anything except feed the fish in four months.

hi, not too bad, the high salinity helped keep algae in check,
bring them all down slowly, careful not to bottom out either, no3 or po4.
otherwise corals look good...:)
