Journey to my 40b

I've been a member here for a while now and have never started my own tank thread. I'm 41 years old and have always had freshwater tanks. It was may of 2014 and I went into my LFS and saw a 1 foot bubble tip hosting two clowns and I was hooked. I did a little research and went back to the LFS the next weekend an picked up a 29g tank, eshopps R-100 sump/refugium, Orbit marine led, eshopps overflow, seaclone skimmer, live sand, api test kit, heater and salt. I started to set the tank up as soon as I got home.

The next day went out and bought some live rock and put it in the tank.

The next 25 days or so I did a lot of water test and finally it's that time. My first saltwater fish. Clown fish of course.

Some things I picked up in the following months.

I swapped out the marine orbit LED with a 30 inch Chinese black box. A couple more months went by and this is what I picked up.

12/18/14

3/18/15 swapped black box out for ATI four bulb dimmable fixture and upgraded to a 40b.

6/21/2015

Started dosing ca, alk and mag.
7/30/15

Tank is very clean so I started dosing flourish nitrogen. Thanks to @twilliard and @Diesel. Things really started to take off after that.
