Junior robbed while camping

Well, like the title says, i was robbed this weekend.

I took the family on our annual camping trip, and while we were visiting with some family who was also there, someone popped the screens out of my camper and swiped my Nikon D300, 70-200 lens, and SB-800 flash.

Needless to say it was a devastating blow to my vacation, and made it impossible to get some long awaited family pics.

the worst part....it was stolen on my Wife and I's 5th wedding anniversary...

a sad day for sure....

hopefully I wont get any hassle from the insurance company...

I HATE THIEVES!!!!!

I'm so sorry to hear that. It's amazing just what a pile of crap our society is turning into. There used to be a feeling of safety in camping. Used to be able to leave gear out on the picnic table and everything.

i am really sorry to hear about your loss, but on the upside no one was hurt and hopefully the insurance wont give you any flack

just think you will be able to upgrade to the new D300s, happy belate anniversary.

Sorry to hear of your loss. Most frustrating and maddening when these things happen because you're so powerless to do anything about it. Hope the insurance company does what they're supposed to do.

That really sucks!

I don't care if it was a $10 camera - I would be bent out of shape.

Someone broke into my truck earlier this summer - smash n' grab - took my 80gb Ipod, GPS, and some other stuff.
I was more ticked that someone violated me than the money involved. Insurance didn't cover it needless to say - I didn't want to use my homeowners on it either.

I hope it all works out for you.
