Wife's been moving rock around and believe it may have come from the reservoir.

explain how my firefish that ended up in the res ended up gone!
Heres a better pic of claws he is a little hairy as well.

Looks like bristly crab or member of Eriphia Smithi crab group. Either way. . . place in sump or this tank :

On second thought I'm going to keep it in the cup so she can see what happened to fire fish.
These not nice hahahahaha
And dont move rock to table cause it's pretty.

@LRT doesn’t look like a pitho or a porcelain. I wouldn’t keep’em. You got some high end stuff man... porcelain sump might be the way to go.

Hahaha!
I cant even bring myself to kill spiders unless theyre in my bedroom.
I have a hard time even flushing dead things.
I bury mine with a little eulogy...they deserve it :'(

This is hilarious. My wife does the same thing with her hamsters when they pass away.
I havent had the heart to tell her our puppy moose has dug them all up now.

For sure man actually found it on a rack. She put the rock on because it had pretty orange sponges and pink coraline algae.

Freezer is the most humane. They don’t feel it coming.

Generally the rule of thumb for crabs. If it has hair it’s not reef safe. General... I’m sure there are exceptions. Even a starved emerald will eat corals.

Yeah I'm not taking any chances. Been wondering where all my hermit crabs have been going in that table as well.
Going to freeze it and feed it to puppy he will eat anything hahahaha

I don't think so, it would be better to put him in the sump if you have one or return to LFS.

Well, yes. But if not an option the best way to dispatch an unwanted critter is the freezer. They get numb from cold just like us and die peacefully. At least as best as possible.
