Starting to scrape off the old paint and then going to paint it black. Scraping is going to be a slow long process

Oh yeah, it looks like it will be! You might be able to use Jasco paint remover as long as you keep it on the outside of the tank! Check to see if it's safe to use on glass.

Yea it definitely will be worth it. I am in the process of moving to my new house I got. So I just started messing with this tank. I will post updates as I go along the way. I just ordered 80 pounds of reef saver dry rock from bulk reef supply. It should be here by Friday.

I would only put about 50 in the Dt and rest in fuge and seed the 50 like I did after the cycle I got 25# of manado from premium aquatics it's awesome rock to seed and no bad critters. It's cured

Yea I was going to put some in my sump that I am going to build

You wont be disappointed with the liverock I I told you about it's best thing since the Marshall island rock we got in the old days no atips or manjaos that mostly comes from Fiji.

Yea I have to look up the rest of equipment I am going to get. I am just looking over reviews for different stuff

Ok cool thanks. I'll try that out tomorrow need to get ready for bed work in the am lol

Homedepot has a product that removes latex paint. It is water based and work well. What the remover should do is soften the paint and make it a lot easier to remove with a razor, or maybe a puddy knife.
When doing the black, get some vynal that the sign guys use and apply it again with water instead of paint. Then if you want to change the color just peal it off

Go to hardware store but a metal scrapper. They are more dull then razor but should still work. Otherwise a razor works fine as long as the tank is glass.

Yea I am not putting it in the tank just on the outside back glass

Lol yea I figured u did but I was asking someone else here at work and they were like u can't use that on the inside lol
