Whelp that was a bummer I believe I have someone else’s tank time to reach out to advanced acrylics!

Ok so I’m a little hyper. I think I’m just going too fast. In this shipment I have the DT, the sump and an ATO tank. It could be that I’m confused and the dimensions I’m seeing are the dimensions of the actual shipment pallet and I’m just nervous. STAY TUNED!

Whelp I just pulled the trigger! I’ve been lurking on these forums for forever and it’s time to start my 1st saltwater tank! Purchased a 210g acrylic tank with a black acrylic sump. I did get a separate ato container and a tunze for what will hopefully be automated top off and eventually water changes. Now while I wait I do have a plan. Finish the basement order a rodi setup from brs and start going . Looking forward to feed back. My ultimate goal
Is a mixed reef with sps cool looking fish and a decent aqua scale. As I grow in the hobby of like lps as well and we’ll see on other stuff! Super stoked and I hope you enjoy the ride as
much as I do!!!

Thanks me too lol! So here’s the latest the tank is cool. I measured it from the back and it’s 7 feet long. The 4 foot depth is because I have a sump and ato shipped as well. I’m thinking he’d store one tank inside the other buuuut that wouldn’t make sense with acrylic it would scratch too easily!

Ok so this is where I’m at so far. I’ve used 2x8’s because I really don’t want a center brace. Buuuuutbi do like over engineering. What do y’all think? The tank totals 210g. It’s 7’ long by 2’ high and deep. My research says I’ll be fine but I like feedback!

Just finished reading thru your build!! So excited to be here for the unveiling of that beautiful tank...WOW! And I must say...your daughter is just ADORABLE. My little helper is my 3 year old granddaughter. She remembers my last tank and calls it my "blue" tank.lol Super excited for you!!!

So off to Home Depot for some lumber for the sides of the stand. Here’s my tanks so hype! I plan on adding a cross brace and some other structual stuff since I like over engineering!
