Team, I'm newly retired and bored at home. I've decided to start a reefer for the grand kids.
I'm looking at the Waterbox 35.2, but not ever even had a goldfish before, I'm lost.
Can you point me in the right direction to get started?

Thanks,

KB

Welcome to R2R!! :)

This article has some pretty good information Link

Water box aquariums are good systems, good choice.

Welcome! Waterbox aquariums are great. Check out this link:

Well I would first do a little research into what type of a system you want.
Once you get that down you need to form a plan to implement the system.
Their is alot involved keeping a salt water tank and a fish only system is vastly different from a reef system.

Welcome to R2R, you might want to start by going over the Bulk Reef Supply 52 weeks of reefing. Those vids are a great place to start. Learn what the nitrogen cycle is and ask a lot of questions before you spend dime one.

Good luck, this is the right place to be for reefing!!!

Welcome to the salty side and the community! I would start with thinking about what you want to keep. Just fish, just corals, both? Oh and don't forget about the inverts. Then think about the types of inhabitants within those groups that you want to keep and research their requirements (like tank size, etc) so you can build your system around their needs. There are a bunch of sticky threads in the "New to Saltwater" section and feel free to ask all the questions you need to. I look forward to seeing your system when it's up and running. :-)

Welcome to R2R! The links provided will give you plenty of information. Just ask question in the 'New to Saltwater and Reef Aquariums' section and you will get lots of help. Waterbox are good solid aquariums. Good choice.

Join the club. I have always had Aquariums. Got into Salt because of my Son. I retired last February. I now have 3 Got a 90 I can call my own the other a 45 with my son, the third was fresh is going to be salt too. I spent about 12,000 so far so be ready. Also sincerely hope you get over the retirement blues. Its bad, and a year and a half later still adjusting.
