Just retired. New reefer.

Nope, this forum doesnt really tolerate any trolls or people with bad will. Mostly encouragement from the folks here. Congrats on retirement and hello to the world of reefing!

BRS is a great way to get started,
Liveaquaria.com is a good resource to search up fish requirements (but i wouldnt buy from there anymore as it seems quality has gone downhill),
tidalgardens.com is great for individual coral requirements,
humble.fish is amazing for tank qt, fish illness and treatment.

Between all of those you will have your hands full for awhile with research before you start the tank up and some places to check back with if things go wrong. Never be afraid to ask questions here, we all started this hobby with no information at some point

Team, I'm newly retired and bored at home. I've decided to start a reefer for the grand kids.
I'm looking at the Waterbox 35.2, but not ever even had a goldfish before, I'm lost.
Can you point me in the right direction to get started?

Thanks,

KB
Welcome.

That's a neat way of handing over the inheritance to the grandkids :)
Thre's a ton of info on the Bulk Reef Supply youtube channel to get started.

Happy reefing.
