So how do you get rid of them. Someone gave it to me when I started to see if it would live in my new tank.I would not. But be careful of palytoxin if you decide to get rid of them. Deadly stuff.
YesAre they attached to a rock by them selves?
Can you send a pic.I have many of these and No issues and its been over 2 years
Please dont do this....you risk exposing everybody that handles that trash until its buried and any animal that gets in it along the way...best to bury or neutralize with bleach...To remove mine I simply covered my mouth and nose with a T-shirt got a long pair of tongs and pulled each polyp from the rock...immediately put it in a plastic bag as soon as I pulled them all off I tied the bag took it outside and threw it in the trash took a little time but had no issues....
I would remove the rock and soak in bleach to remove the unwanted palys...Is there a way to remove / manage locally ?
Easy enough to manage, just keep the rock separate for any others. Then they won’t grow off it. Or surround it with corals that pack a good sting, acan echinata, galaxia etc.Is there a way to remove / manage locally ?
