Kessil 360 crapping out at only 6 months!!

Anyone else had white diodes burn out in these lights?? Sucks cause warranty is expired.

I had the same thing happen on my Ocean Revives. I gave up nd switched to T5s

I've had three A360WEs for over a year with no issues. Try calling Kessil...they may still work with you.


And make sure you have surge protection.

If its a 4 foot tank you will need atleast 3. I personally I have not been satisfied with growth from mine. I will be switching to T5s as soon as I can talk my accountant into it.

I also supplement with two 80W T5s. If you swap to T5s, make sure you acclimate your tank residents slowly.

Yea, I have two 54 watt T5s with my kessils now.

Warranty out of course. Not sure if I would buy Kessil again.
But that shimmer!

You can get the shimmer from halides as well

I called Kessil and they will take a look for a minimum fee to see if able to repair. They did not sound hopeful but gave me a one time option to buy for much less.

If you lost all of one color, it's probably a board issue

I know that's right. That's one of the reasons I tried them over halides on this tank.

The whites are weak on the left light. I noticed at the sunrise ramp this morning that the right side of the tank was much brighter .

I use both Radion G4 and Kessils. Both have a nice shimmer but the Kessils shimmer is more pleasing to the eye and is a much crisper shimmer.
