Kessil A80 => A360x

I recently upgraded from a short run 10-gallon with an A80 to a 40B. I wanted to try it out just adding another a80. Like you said, the haters were chirpin about Kessil with low par in deeper tanks 12"+.

The 40B has only been running about 3-4 weeks, but I've seen new zoos poppin' up. So I'd say A80's can handle growing softies in a 15" deep tank. I even have a Squamosa in the sand bed that looks great.

Note: I use a cheap clip on iphone yellow/pink lens on the close up shots. So they're not as bright, but you can see much more color.

Booooi. That's lookin sharp. Very nice. I like the setup and your colors are definitely poppin. I've been really debating this and more and more testimony like this are getting me second thinking everything haha. I just emailed kessil asking what they recommend and they said I should get a 360x (feel like they partially want me to just buy a more expensive product, go figure) vs getting 1 or 2 more a80s. But your tank looks really good but it does seem to be more softies? I'm trying to go in the direction of more LPS and a few sps (stylophora, Monti caps and digis. I think I may go with 2 more a80s even though an a360x would be better for down the road long term usability. Anyone have an opinion on the 360 vs a radion g4 pro?

I also love the clam. I've been wanting one but wasn't sure if I could support one. Squamosas seem like the best option. How long have you had yours?

In this tank about the 3-4 weeks (I think Sunday is 4 weeks), but I had him in my nano under an A80 for about 3 months.

Yeah, I went with the Squamosa due to their lower light requirements. I will say, when I placed him directed to the front of the tank - he spins sideways. I'd have to think he prefers either more available light or preferred flow at that direction.
