Go with radio g4. Its the top for all Led and the resale vlaue is great.
Hardly any one know or have a clue about the ap700 led
Someone drank the ecotech kool-ade.

When people say UV, are they talking about the spectrum outside of the visible light spectrum? How would you even control that?
The "Kessil Logic" controls the UV chips.

Oh Geez, more marketing. Kinda like when Ecotech commissioned a "study" on powerheads to bash Tunze a few years back.

Yes, yes we are!

that was the dilemma I had getting back in, a Discus tank or salt. thanks for the pic's

For around the same price you could do dual 250w Radion Metal Halides. I will put a metal halide tank against anything. Yes you have to replace bulbs every year to two years, but the color and growth are amazing. For dual 250w you are looking at $700, for dual 400w around $750.

Don't forget to mention the cost to chill the tank down with a chiller if you're advising the use of MH's. IMO I would never advise someone to use MH's in today's era of reefing.

So, I've had these lights for about a week now and to be honest, I started using the lights at 50% intentisty right out the box. My thinking was that because I had LEDs already, I would be good. So, I started noticing a birds nest lightening up a little. So, I immediately turned on the acclimation setting, which use 20% intensity for a 14 day period. All seems well now and I am even seeing growth on some acroporas and a few softies. I am definitely satisfied with this light. With the app, this light is very easy to control. I also picked up a seneye for a nice discount and although the light is peaking at 20% intensity, I am getting 79-85 % PUR. :)
