Kevan's Reef Adventures Cubed

3rd shift photos!

threw this skimmer stand together for the omega the other day. It seems to finally be running decently sitting at only 6 inches depth.

Just an update of the tank community. 4 fish have been added over the last few months and all seem do be doing great. Here are some photos of the ones I've been able to capture so far. I probably won't add anymore fish as I like to keep the bioload as low as possible and 6 is already more than I was planning.
-Purple fire fish
-Red Stop Light Cardinalfish (Fowleria flammea)
-
Flame Hawkfish
-
Yellow watchman goby with tiger pistol shrimp (So far the watchman and flame hawk live together)

Your tank looks great! Do you have any tricks or tips for keeping candy cane corals? I have no luck with them. :(

@SeahorseKeeper Honestly they have just been the easiest coral for me to keep. I have had my colony of neon greens since 2007 when it was 2 heads and they have been fragged many many times. I probably have around 100 heads at the moment maybe. They seem to like lower light although they do tolerate higher light but don't expand much. When I spot feed them mysis they multiply much faster. Also recently I have been dosing a zeovit product called LPS amino acid.

Winter is coming....and with it many updates. Sorry I have been so lax I just never seem to take photos that I deem worthy of this blog! The tank is ridiculously full compared to my most recent update.

Sorry for the long delay in updates. The tank is over a year old now and doing well. As usual I am completely out of coral room but that's no surprise. Here are some photos from the last couple of nights.

Ummmmm we need a new FTS!! :)

Here's a quick photo of our newest tank at my work place. The system runs about 25,000 gallons and currently holds both Southern and Cow nosed stingrays.
