Killing blue cloves with fluke tabs

Il check them tomorrow morning, I would have removed the shrimp, but my hands have been covered in motor oil for the past week (darn mud trucks), so I'v been avoiding stickin my hands in the tank lol.

So reading that again did you remove the dead shrimp or they still in the tank?

I used 1/4 of a fluke tab in my 24g aquapod and it took care of all my blue cloves within a week. Also killed all my snails but who cares. Stuff works. Good luck all

Please help

Blue star polyps have almost taken over my whole reef tank and are trying to grow over some of my Sps corals I heard fluke tabs work can't find any for sale can anyone help

Hello my name is Brian. I am new to this forum thing. However, in search of a solution to eradicate nuisance clove polyps safely from my tank, I have found out about this golden fluke tab in forums from my research. The only thing I havent found are the fluke tabs themselves. I am desperately trying to get my hands on some, heck only one should do it from what I've read but it appears that the golden fluke tab is ever elusive. Again, I am in desperate need so if anyone can help me find, trade, buy, borrow or steal (just kidding) some fluke tabs, I would be forever grateful. [email protected]

Will the Fluke tabs also kill other types of Cloves? Christmas Cloves etc?

Will the Fluke tabs also kill other types of Cloves? Christmas Cloves etc? trying to figure out what to remove... figured Id remove these anyway but thought id check as well... also trying to locate the fluke tab

If your infestation isn't too bad try aptasiaX small bit at a time so it won't mess your water chemistry up. That's what I use on xenia from time to time.

Expect all cloves, Xenia and sympodium to be a goner. Also use caution with inverts such as crabs, shrimp and snails, I had some do fine and some not. Regardless of activated carbon and water changes I found it wasn't safe to add the mentioned corals back for several months. It seems it takes time for the rocks to leach it all back out. Sorry I can't help you with the fluke tabs, they're getting pretty hard to find.

Fluke tab killed my anemone.... And some nice shrimp but It was a risk I took since xenia was getting out of control. I had an extra tab laying around but I cant find it anymore.

Paul, what of nem just for documentation? My rosé bubble did fine with fluke tabs but got stressed and split when I had to dose prazi for flukes.

It was actually two rose bubble anemone's. Within a day of using the tab they shriveled up and never recovered. I Took them out of tank and tried saving them but to no avail. Sombody on here said they took theirs out and put them in another tank before using the tabs, should have done that. But other than that all zoas, sps, lps were perfectly fine.

I have used the fluke tabs twice now. They seem to rid my tank of the cloves completely but after a few weeks they start coming back from the dead. The fluke tabs killed my finger leather and stressed out my pipe organ which I took out and gave to a friend til it's safe to put it back. They also killed a pipe fish. All sps Lps zoas palys fish and lt anemone show no affects at all. Fluke tbs also killed sandsifter star. I am moving to a 150 wide in the next month or so I will try a stronger dose before the change. I am determined to rid myself of these pests for good.

I don't think they are sold anymore as I have looked in the past for some for a buddy who's tank is infested with blue cloves and I was unable to find any at that time. That was 6 months ago or so, but could have been searching wrong.
