muriatic acid dip...lol.

I tried killing GSP on a rock after getting most of it off for a friend. I tried kalk paste and vinegar, soaked it in a 50/50 bleach/water, then soaked in straight bleach but they just wouldn't die. Muriatic acid will be the next option if I decide to wash some rock in the future.

Frag what you can first though

I'm in a similar situation. I have a beautiful maxi mini on a rock that is covered in a soft coral that is out of control. I was hoping when the maxi made that rock it's home it would kill the coral.... Nope I think it acts as a fertilizer. It's spreading all over my tank. I don't know what to do. I don't like the idea of killing stuff either, but I didn't buy this coral either. It came as a hitchhiker on my Lr and now it needs to go. Probably gonna get flamed for this. If I could get the mini off I would give the rock away. Thinking of selling the mini maxi and that rock and buying another. There are plenty more mini maxis for sale. :)

I agree...don't kill them. Troylee is right place a craiglist posting in your area since there are no LFS within your immediate are. You should be able to get someone to care for them that will answer your posting.

People like me who are just starting out look for deals and something new to try that is difficult to kill off until we become more experienced. Am I interested in this case, no I have enough but, others will snap them up in less than a heartbeat for the right price. Why kill them off when you can make enough from them to purchase new rock? jmho

How much you want for some star pal. I'm game...... Trying to rebuild after the tornados (power outage killed my stuff) Just now getting my tank back into shape.

Anybody know how to kill a clown fish, it bites me when i'm cleaning the tank............
