Does anyone know how to change the thread name? Since @melypr1985 pointed out that it was a kole tang and I made a mistake. Now some are not liking my mistake..

It wasn't a big mistake. No reason to worry about that.

Some people are just nit-picky about these things and press the issue.

So far he's still hanging in there.. He moves a little and will rest.. Maybe he will make it.. I know these fish are very hard to keep healthy but at least I know I'm doing all I can to save him

Just double checking, but you are currently removing the copper right? I just don't think he can take that right now. Maybe dose a gentle antibiotic such as Kanaplex though.

Melpyr and humblefish have you taken care of as much as anyone on here can. Keep an eye on him and i sugjest the same metro, kanaplex, and furon 2. I know both melypr and humblefish are very wise on their meds and diseases and ive been learning from them as much as i can. If it wasn't for them i wouldnt know half the stuff i now know about diseases and meds.

@Humblefish yes I am removing the copper and dosed all three antibiotics as soon as he hit the water.. He just doesn't look good..

He is still alive!!!!!!!! Should I do a water change and another round of antibiotics? I am out of one antibiotic but can run and get more. I have furon and melaplex.. Out of KanaPlex

I'm no expert but I think it would probably be best to not stress it any more than you have to. What's the recommended course of the antibiotics you're using?

@melypr1985 suggested dosing all three at same time. I know after 24 hours you dose again with water change but it hasn't been 24 hours just yet. Buts he's so sick..

Personally I'd wait the 24 or hours or as close to it as you can.

Stay the course with the antibiotics. Follow the dosing schedule and do water changes as recommended on the labels. Antibiotics don't remain active in the water for very long. Do not use any other medications at this time; just Furan-2, Kanaplex & Metroplex.

Ok.. I'm on my way to get KanaPlex.. He looks like he would be ok if his fin wasn't messed up,. He can't do much with that fin eat up.. Also his gills are moving but not his mouth.. What does that mean?

I had an Anthia who got an infection on his tail that ate away just about his entire tail. He couldn't be taken back out of the tank to treat so I fed kanaplex in his food for 10 days. Now, 2 months later, his tail is growing back and he's able to swim better. he's coming out more often and looking much happier. While he's healing he spends a lot of time hiding, but comes out for food every time I feed. I was shocked to see his improvement. What I'm saying is, it's possible to bring them back.

If his gills are moving then he's just breathing.... not gasping.... which is good. Keep trying to get him to eat as he will need that energy to heal up all the way. And as humble said, stay the course with the meds. Baby the heck out of him.
