Hey everybody! I'm still getting my stock list for a 75g Reef. Right now I'm attracted to a Kole tang, so please put in some information about them plus your experience keeping them. Thanks!

They eat detritus and fish poop and are the best possible member of your clean up crew if you have a bare bottom tank. When they are healthy they are very pretty and overall a great fish.
Of the tangs that are ok in smaller tanks, these are good candidates in my opinion. Thanks! Good in a 75?

The tang really should be one of the last fish you add. Susceptible to diseases and parasites. Give time for your rock to mature. Also, tangs can sometimes be agressive towards newcomers. But just my opinion.
Availability of Hawaiian fish, like the Kole Tang, may become a bit challenging after that court decision on Wednesday.

Definitely a fish for the QT to treat prophylactically regardless of "how it looks."

Yeah that's why I'm in a rush for the fish before it isn't available. Great for the environment, horrible for the hobby. Actually it's also good for the hobby because aquacultured tangs can be available
Hey, I've got a new Yellow Tang in my 20 gal QT right now. Best of luck with your Kole - nice looking fish. Keep us in the loop. Cheers!
And Welcome to R2R!

Oh and welcome to R2R! Didn't notice that earlier.
