I definitely think you should work on getting the copper up... I honestly think there could be another parasite (ie ich or velvet) that is currently being suppressed by the freshwater dips and low level of copper, but still doing damage...

I am sorry I did not follow up with your helpful comments. I raised the copper to .5 or.6 and left it there until last week. I had to do large water changes to get the ammonia down. Weirdly enough I had to place my Fluval filter in the horizontal position due to lack of enough freshly made up water and it fixed the ammonia issues I was having. The angel appears to be doing great now.Still in QT while I figure out the dino issue.
