I noticed this, this morning posting a few pics kinda hard to distinguish but any help would be appreciated not sure if I need to remove. One of the pics for reference had my foxface poking in the hole.

This is a tube for vermetid snail. Place a dab of gel superglue over the opening to starve it

Are you referring to the slimy material in the hole? Looks like a sponge, which are generally harmless filter-feeders. On the off chance it smothers coral, you can inject it with boiling water, hydrogen peroxide, or air to kill it.

Yes the slime seems to be around the inside of the hole, I'll see if it grows into a sponge. Just didn't want something to burst into a million unwanteds.
