Lasers 1000+ Inwall Starfire

a few updates..
Was able to get the 2 exhaust fans hooked up and vented through the roof. Since the space above the garage was restricted for ventilation I hooked up a powervent to exchange the air in the attic space. My HVAC guys will be here in the morning and will install a 2 ton dedicated unit for the garage and hook up the chiller heat pump.
Tomorrow night MidCities will be bringing 700lb Liverock and we will begin aquascape. More pics to come...:xd:

aquascaping complete for now. In total there are 3 seperate islands. The left and right both hug the back wall and overflows and spread to center. Then there is a large center island.

here is shot from inside house on side as well as mounts for Hydras. With only 4 of the hydras hooked up the amount of light is unbelievable. The custom mount was made to be able to slide the hydras into any position and easily add more.

can you take a update photo when you can ; no rush! of the bottom of your tank i wanna see what you have underneath the hood! :) (sump area i am talking about)

There is still about 200lb in a horse trough that will be used in the sump for filtration and bio. So around 600lb used for structure so far. Probably have another 200lb or so that will be used in display that is currently housed in the 225QT and many small SPS colonies on liverock ready to go.

Give me a couple of days to make water and get it running. I still do not have my bubble king 400 yet so i will be reviewing a new 1000 gallon skimmer for Zeovit until mine comes in. i will be running biopellets, ozone through a reef octopus reactor and carbon. All will be powered by 2 Reeflo Golds, 5 vortec mpw60s,Deltec calcium reactor, deltec kalc stirrer for topoff, and a aqualogic 2hhp chiller/heat exchanger. Neptune Apex runs all automatically. That will all be a work in progress.

Sounds good, threads like this keep me inspired. My current tank set up when we bought our house is only a 180g set up over a year ago and is pretty much just rocks atm due to the dino we have been battling for 6 to 9 months. Things seem to be turning around though and your set up as well as others helps me see the light

:welcome: and thanks for the kind words! Hope you stick with it and get the tank up and rolling.

Tomorrow woodworker will be in to start inside trim work that will match the kitchen and the complete inwall look will take place. The HVAC team will be back as well to finish hooking up the new 2ton unit for the garage as well as the 2hhp chiller. They will also be installing a new AC for my detached workshop but that is not key for the tank build.
