Lasers 1000+ Inwall Starfire

Huge update, nice to hear that things are growing and progressing.
That is a HUGE Generator, but given what you have going on I think it is sized well.

Sorry to hear about Ray.

Keep us posted on all of the progress, and I would really like to see the full specifications regarding your power solution(s).

hence the need for the new frag tank:help:

This is the size inwall I am planning when we find a new house. My wife agreed to a large tank before we got married last year. :) I don't think she understands the complexity yet or cost.

2 HHP Aqualogic chiller that is split unit with heat exchanger inside fish room and condenser outside house. Made a mistake when ordering as I thought my unit would handle heat as well but not the case. I am looking for a good inline heater now for large capacity tank. Good news is I do have central heat and air in the fish room so only really for backup if AC unit goes down.

Alhough I am new, I was thinking this might be of some help for your heater search! Winter is Coming... - reefs.com

Just stumbled on this thread! Stuff that reefer's dreams are made of there! Excellent job putting this all together. Tagging along to keep track of this one.

out of curiosity, what settings do you run the hydra 52s at?
7 hours daytime settings: 75% white, 50%green, 80% red, 100% rest
1 hour of sunrise with blues,uv,and red up to the above percents
3 hours of sundown with same down to 0%
also run MH's 7 hours

Do you plan on having rain, like top off system with some kind of valve linked to the lighting fed through a sprinkler that would be crazy.

I have seen those set up but I am too scared to spray water with all the apex modules everywhere...

Just tell her it cost $50.00. It has worked for me for over 30 years!

Small Update:
You know how it is when you get a little bored you start messing with the fish setup. So this week I had to harass the electrician who was scheduled to show up and install the whole home backup generator. They are now scheduled to come Monday next week. Only 2 weeks late now.

Dedicated tank circuit number #5 install
In preparation of the arrival of the new frag tank I decided not to chance it with the current power setup and just install another dedicated 25A circuit to power frag tank lights as well as the emergency sump equipment that will allow the tank to run seperate from the main display, I.E. heater, return pump, etc...The sump will also be running continuously with a QT tank display. Not sure on the size yet had to get everything set up and see how the layout allows. Once this is completed with the prep work of painting etc we are now officially ready for delivery. So hurry a little when you get a chance over there will ya AGE!! lol

The whole house backup generator installation has begun. I shot a couple of pics for the build thread...There is about a 150' run of pipe that leads from house to spot where generator will sit. We tried to hide it back behind the man cave and out of the way.
