So I know they are herbivores and he is constantly picking and eating off my live rock. However, he doesn't eat when I feed. Just want to make sure he's getting enough food on his own..thanks

Mine has been eating everything I put in the quarantine tank, brine, black worms, mysis. I read that some are picky but will be fine on algae in the tank. Still a few weeks till mine goes in the display tank.

Same here ocelaris , couple more weeks in qt for him here too

Algae sheets. At first I'd try with garlic kind then you could move to the algae without garlic.

Also give it a few days at first I know most don't recommend leaving algae sheets in longer then 6hr but at first I would unless you have noticeable algae on the rocks or any hair algae it'll eat that instead.

Always see him picking at rocks but doesn't look he's eating anything lol

Yeah, The new one I just got was doing this put a ocean nutrition with garlic algae strip in there or whatever your prefer brand is doesn't really matter tbh. I left mine in there for 24hrs before putting more in.
Once my turbo snail starting eating it then the blenny followed suit lol.
Is it a baby one?

He seems fine but idk how skinny they are..

Well I had him for two months an lost him today. I have had 4 other fish for a long time..

I had the same experience last year. Mine wouldn't eat any of the many different foods I offered, then also passed away after a couple of months. I had just added a big electric blue hermit that just polished off all the rock & there was very little algae. It was so stressful watching him waste away. (The only fish I've lost aside from a hawkfish that jumped). I read that some lawnmower blennies never take to offered foods:(
I now have a tail spot and since he is much smaller, the tank supports him fine and he has a nice little round tummy.
Sorry for your loss.
