I am also trying to find a good LED strip that is less than $40 per 5m. I want to put it on the corners of my ceiling. There are so many manufacturers, and I am new to the world of LED strips, so I don't know how to tell good from bad, and reviews on Amazon and eBay don't help much. I would like it to have color-music coordination and good reliability (i don't want to have to replace them 6 months down the road, and they will only be on for a max of 20 hours in a week.) I don't need them to come with a controller or a PSU, as I am figuring on sourcing that myself.

E27 bulbs. 20 dollars, done

My school bought an aquarium to place in the main hall for the students to admire the fishes. The only problems for them were finding someone willing to take care of the fishes and LED lights for the aquarium. The project was postponed due to not being able to find the LED lights at a good price. For some time, they even had to use lamps with smart light bulbs to bring some sort of light into the aquarium. The idea wasn't bad but not practical at the same time. Some child's father came up with the necessary LED lights for the aquarium after a month.

i run 3 redsea RF90's and love them. I also run a XR15 pro on a reef tank, both are reputable and have gorgeous shimmering.
