LEDs for a 120g?

Thanks for the help guys. Not trying to start a feud here. Radions are top dogs for their software and features. Comes with a hefty price tag. You can DIY the same colors for a lot less but not have the controls. Just read where cool whites were not the best choice for white with warm white and neutral/natural whites out there. Don't get me wrong, radions are good, just looking for something a little out of the box with a full spectrum. Thanks.

ya. I was the same way. Started with DIY. Did royal blue, blue, cool white and warm white. I liked the colors, I liked the growth. I ran each channel independent on a DIM4 controller. But what I was missing was a nice crisp white and the ability to tweak the programs to my liking. I went to a friends house and saw his radions and was sold instantly.

Dont pass them up until you see them in person. I spent $600 on DIY not counting labor. If I paid myself for the time I spent, I'd be close to a grand or more. I realize that is the advantage to DIY, but if you look at the time spent as a cost, it can help you justify the expense somewhat. (Or to your wife at least) :)

Before you dish a lot of money out on Radions and the unneccessary features with no benefits (i.e. green leds, storm simulation, etc.) check out the Maxspect Razors. More reasonable and incredible par values. Though if you were wanting to keep clams and/or sps I would go with the 10k versions. Do a little research before you buy.

Thanks. Definitely researching as much as I can. Tank is still dry and I have 250w MH I can run till I pull the trigger.

Great point. After building my own, now I'm willing to spend a little more for a pre made one. Thanks.

Thanks. Definitely on my list. Just trying to figure out how many I will need.
