Let Me ID Your Wrasse!

I need some help on this one.
All joking aside: how have you been!?
Also this one is very aggressive for a typical flasher. Never hides, I see him flashing the anthias, sixline wrasses, melanurus, and sometimes even me. Think he’s Just a super male being macho or something else going on?

There's always outliers - sometimes you just get the luck of the draw on aggression.

Hi can you give me a few suggestions of a possible Id from a description, I had 2 wrasses from a lfs (I think a pair) who were unsure of the name although they suggested it could be something like Wasaabi, they were the same shape as the picture (which is not the fish) but all one colour with a prominent yellow/gold eye, one with the black spot and one without as the one in the pic, they were about 3cm, quite active towards the top of the tank and hung around as a pair, I would like some more but have not seen any since, any ideas if possible?

I don't see how anybody can help you here. It is essentially impossible to ID a wrasse from description by a person who do not know much about wrasse. You are going to have to get a picture.

The picture above show a female Fairy wrasse, on of a number of species. I am not good enough to ID the species from this picture.

Thank you for taking the time, I’ve looked at your suggestions and the pylei does not look right the picture I about the right colour but the fish in question is all one colour if that helps!

That is a P. flavinanalis or the Yellowfin Flasher. My favorite flasher wrasse

Tricky one, as there's a geographical split between H. nebulosus and H. margaritaceus. But with a few markings in mind, I believe this to be the latter (H. margaritaceus).
